Skooby Laposky is a sound designer, composer and musician based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His work includes scores for television and film, product sound design (for robots!), numerous dance 12”s under various monikers and most recently large-scale public sound art. Laposky loves all sound-making devices and techniques, but has an affinity for the tangled affair of modular synthesis. He is currently working on a definitive book about his great uncle, Ben F. Laposky, widely considered to be a pioneer of electronic visual art.
