Dora Fodor is a vocalist, performer and audiovisual artist, graduated in New Media, Academy of Fine Arts. She attended the Fran Lhotka High School of Music in Sisak in opera singing, where she also encountered research into vocal structures and techniques for the first time. Her primary artistic field of interest is the research of social emotional situations, reactions and relationships, and the translation and implementation of these processes into voice / sound structures- finally presented through performances or installations. She researches the human identities through various prudence and documents it through her work. She had musical experience through the improelectronic duo NT Wave ft FEN and various improvisational ensembles, and artistic through the author’s audiovisual performance Doctor Krleža, vocal performance “Dialogue 4 Friends”, sound- vocal series “Microsituations”, and other work. She is currently producing a solo exhibition entitled “Hearth” which will be presented at the VN Gallery (Zagreb).
She has participated on Indirect Festival, Project Ilica Multimedia Festival, Lazaretti Art Gallery, Aquarius Club, LUZ Festival, Reunited Festival, Szabadkikoto Club in Pécs, Greta Gallery, Kset Club, as part of the Katalin Ladik workshop in SC Zagreb, under the initiative Platforma.hr, Galerija Prozori, Klub Močvara, Palm64, Museum of Broken Relationships, Experimental Sound Event “Gibanja”, at the Sounded Bodies Festival, Atelier Žitnjak,Galerija Knifer …
